New photo competition

edited January 1970 in Announcements
In the next day or so, I will be launching a new photographic competition to win £100 worth of KATA camera bag (as seen Here ).
To be in with a chance of winning this KATA bag, we need to get 100+ entries in to the competition. It's one entry per person, so you will need to spread the word to get people joining in. Competition is open to all levels of skill etc. Original shot must be available to confirm date and time taken via Exif data.
Should we fail to get 100+ entries this month, the winner will choose the theme for the next months contest, and so on, until we hit 100 entries to release the prize <!-- s:mrgreen: --><!-- s:mrgreen: -->

So keep an eye out in the competitions section for more details <!-- s;-) -->;-)<!-- s;-) -->

  • Hi Chris

read the comp.. presumably us staff members arent allowed to enter as happens with the other place?

    Bessy regs

  • Yes Kenny, but hopefully only for this one. I'm hoping to pull in independant judging very soon, so it will be open to all levels of membership <!-- s;-) -->;-)<!-- s;-) -->
  • Hi Chris

might not be around to judge this one....will PM you to let you know what I mean
  • Excellent to see we have people entering the contest already on Day 1.
I notice a few are quite small photos, that would look better in larger format. For the convenience of members, the forum has it's own photo editing suite HERE

To resize your image for the competition, simply go to the editor on link above, and open your entry image.
Then click on Image and then Image size, and reduce the size to 1000px max on the longest side. Once done, click on OK, and then close the image, for save options to show.
  • PS:
Don't forget to share the link around for the contest. We need 100+ entries for the KATA bag prize to become available <!-- s;-) -->;-)<!-- s;-) -->

Here is the link to share with others
