Attaching Photographs

Chris has just answered a question for me regarding the above.  

There a limit on how many photos you can put on a thread to show up in the main body of that thread.  If you look in Planes, Trains and Automobiles, I've just started a tread, 'Our latest visit to Crich'. I put 5 photos on but only three are shown in the body of the post. The other two are in small thumbnails underneath and can be opened by clicking on the name of the image.   It does this to conserve space.

@Bob - does this mean that we are limited to how many photos we put in a blog or if we resize them then it doesn't matter

No , Margaret, there's no limit.   It's Just that only three will show up as large and however many else you put on will appear as thumbnails under the post.  If you click on the name of the thumbnail it will enlarge.   Have a look at 'Our latest visit to Crich' and you will see what I mean.

Incidentally, I've tried downsizing photos to 1 meg and it doesn't seem to make any difference to the quality on here.

Hi Bob. Will we be able to still paste the bb code from Flickr?

No idea mate.   I've never used Flickr.   What's the point though as it's so easy to post pictures on here?

  I noticed that when I clicked the other 2 images from Crich they blew up so that's why I mentioned it in my comment to you

I have always used Flickr but I use the other way.

Finally got use to uploading images without flickr. I'm liking the new format.
