Still got a million photos to edit but here are a ton of them so far. Prepare to be bored stupid. All taken with a D500. Lenses were a Nikkor 18-300, a Nikkor 200-500 and a potato.

I only paid £5.95 to get in on a Groupon deal. Not sure it is worth the extra 3 quid at full price. The bird shows are good but they are 3 hours apart and you'd be hard pushed to find something to keep your interest for 3 hours. I left 2 hours before the second show. At that point i'd only been there 2 ish hours.

Photos of the birds in their cages were close on imposible to get due to the double layer of mesh keeping them in. Fine if you only want to use your eyeballs to see them but a lens isn't going to focus through them. A few Falcons outside had a netting keeping them in that wasn't too bad to shoot through though.

There was a large room inside with a few very annoyed Eagles with no fences or mesh in front of them. Obviously the background is going to make it obvious they are inside.

Overall, not a bad few hours out but i'm very glad i only live a few miles away. Not sure i'd be too happy if i'd travelled a couple of hours to get there.

This is how small the mesh was, no chance of getting through that in a million years. I didn't even bother to try and get photos of the large eagle owls inside as the mesh on them was not making it easy to see with just my eyes lol
