for a while.   My laptop's on its last legs and I hopeless with a phone.

Had to order a new battery. Unfortunately it's the type that fits inside the case (BM04XL) and I can only get one from China.   Going to take a month.   The old battery is seriously overheating and I daren't leave it on for more than a few minutes.   I've managed to get the case open and the battery is quite distorted.

Can you run it plugged in without the battery? I know I did with one of mine in the past.

Cant run it without the battery, it just doesn't work.   If I run it with the battery, whether it's plugged in or not, it quickly gets too hot to touch.   I'm afraid the battery might explode.

Battery arrived this morning fitted and working.   See how the old battery has distorted.
