One of the most arrogant people i've ever had the displeasure to meet. And on more than one occasion i've seen him drive his RR and pretty much force people out of his way.

I will not miss him at all.

Never met him but I thought his comic timing was brilliant. RIP.
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to his country for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'

He was a funny little man - but i found his stories dragged on a bit. His fat friend was much funnier, to say nothing of cleverer!

Not sure why people seem to get offended when other people feel nothing when somebody dies. I couldn't stand him. Not going to say nice things about him just because he died.

Luckily some of you never had the misfortune to meet him and find out what a horrible man he really was.

I never met him so can't comment on his personality but he was a very good, very funny comic - apart from that 'Sorry' TV program.

He had a connection with a village in Fife, where one of my wife's bridesmaids lived - he was not exactly flavour of the months there, either. Public and private personas are not the same thing, but perhaps ignorance is bliss?

Loved the TV series, but when he played in a pro golf day at Devils Dyke golf club.  I went up to him and politely asked him to sign a piece of paper, he told me to f*** off. Not really a nice way to reply, so I ran his golf ball over with the tractor  ;D

Be funny if at the Pearly Gates he tries to get in at the the Rook restaurant and Ronnie Barker looking round the empty restaurants says.
"Have you booked."

Nice one David.  ;D

I've come across a few similar situations on the net where he told people to f off. I don't know whether anybody else ran over his balls with a tractor.

I think you would need what is known in the gambling trade as a "low roller"?
