You are all most welcome.   In fact, it's given this forum a new lease of life.
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to his country for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'

It really has given the Forum a new lease of life as Bob says, it now takes me much longer to catch up with new postings.
Thank you for joining us here.

I've been a member here for quite a while and even did a bit of posting. I didn't stay because it seemed like a close knit community and I was getting in the way. How wrong I was, even though I consider myself to be one of the refugees you guys have been more than welcoming and I thank you all for that. This place already seems like home and the buzz is almost palpable. You indigenous members say that it has rejuvenated the site, it's also rejuvenated me. Although I looked in on MFP I rarely took part, here I can't wait to get involved.

Have a drink on me, Chris is paying  ;)

Hiyah.  It's nice to see some new faces and like Bob says,  a new broom sweeping through the forums.  I haven't been active on here for ages due to time and my involvement with Fuji.  That will come to an end in a few weeks time so hopefully,  I can pop in a lot more often.  I'm going to miss Fuji, that's for sure,  the banter and Fuji Meets have been fantastic.  Still, that's how it goes in life.  best not to moan, just get on with it.   :)

By the way Chris,  I notice we are 12 hours out on the timeline........  ;)

It's so nice to have such a welcoming place to land now that MFP is ending. Thanks for being here and for the warm welcome.

When I first crept into what I hoped would be our new home I was worried that we would be resented by the residents. I know that some forums are very cliquy. It was a happy surprise to find out how helpful and friendly everyone was. Thanks very much everyone for making our changeover such a happy and easy experience.

By the way Ray, I don't think Chris should by everyone a drink - just the Yorkshire folk. Mine's a John Smith's Cask Chris, cheers.

I think I can speak for all the 'originals' when I say that you are all most welcome. :)
