I feel that, after recent  events, the members here should know a little about David Ore.   In a fit of pique he has removed Chris from the Photo Sharing Group.

What I don't understand, as so far as I know I haven't offended him, is that he has also removed me from the group.

Being the coward that he is, he is now refusing to receive messages from me asking for an explanation.

Just be careful, you other members of the group, not to upset him if you want to remain in the group.   Or you could just forget such a flakey run group and stay here.

Just to also be clear, I'd explained my private issues to David, yet he repeated his claims that I did not care about this forum, on the photo group.
So, in case he has deleted my comments from the photo sharing group....
I am currently out of work, due to an issue I had with my employer, who seemed to thing doing 48 hours ish, in 3 days, is acceptable. I am also dealing with the fact my farther died in his garden, after being confronted by teenagers. And his body was stuck out their for hours and hours, while the police pissed about. Add to this the fact that the police screwed up the investigation, and it is now in the hands of the police commissioner. Plus we are having to sell or dispose of my parents possessions, as my mother is about to be forced from her home of 20+ years, because my father died. And then there is my ex-wife, trying to screw me for anything and everything, and manipulating my kids, the forum has been the last thing on my mind,

But as Bob will tell you, he messages me if their are any issues, and I still drop everything, in order to try and resolve them ASAP. I'd like to take a photo and post, but my shity ex made sure I lost my camera gear.
So while I understand why David wished to leave, due to the forums issues. I do not appreciate his group public comments, which were untrue, and unnecessary. And to then try and divert the blame, speaking about a friend that was stabbed, just added insult to injury. I wasn't asking for sympathy, and had kept most of this private. So entering a pissing contest about who had seen the worst happen to a friend/family member, wasn't what I wanted. Though having your father die at the hands of a group of teenagers, doesn't really compare to a friend being stabbed. He asked to be deleted, so I delete his account.

That's it really, end of story  ??? ???

Not really the end of story Chris.   He has now kicked another of our members off the Photo Sharing Group.   Night of the long knives?

Oh dear.  I hate stuff like this.  Anyway,  life goes like that.  I'm glad I don't know the "ins-and-outs" of all this.  Have a nice day everyone.  ;)

Chris and Sally, I just caught up on what happened to your Dad and i'm honestly sorry for your loss, i've been there and i wouldn't wish it on anybody.

As for people moaning that you don't spend enough time dealing with the site instead of your personal life and all the things you're having to deal with i would say this to them...... ** **** ******* *** *** ***** **** ****.

Some people just have no idea and half the time don't even live on this planet and would prefer to think that their own pathetic lives are more important when they never will be.

I would have not used those little stars but i probably would have got banned or something like that.

Chris, completely understand how a sudden and tragic thing like this can pull you away from here. I know you do your best for this place, but there are much more important things to take care of sometimes. Our thoughts are with you and I hope you can iron all this out soon.

@Si Robinson

Not on this occasion Si. :))   I have rather more intimate knowledge of what Chris and Sally have gone through than most and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.   For some jumped up, self serving idiot to come along and say what he said to Chris was completely unforgivable.

I've just had a look and he hasn't unblocked me Chris.   I think that he would have to wait for me to re-apply and that isn't going to happen.

There is still the question of why did he block John and myself in the first place?

@chris Hodgson   I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your father Chris, my deepest condolensces to your and your family.

I don't spend as much time on here as others due to my work hours and the time difference but I do appreciate the fact that you do all you can to keep the site up and running.

Take care and I hope your private life becomes a little less stressful.   :-*

Thanks for being the intermediary Chris, it's appreciated.   I don't think Chris will be returning either.

@chris Hodgson I've said this before but I agree with others. Your private life is far more important than this web site. We've had fun here at no cost to us and for that I am very grateful. It has got a bit frustrating here recently but that pales into insignificance against the sad events in your own life. Take care.

@Dipper Even with what's been going on Jonathan, Chris has still been working on the site and he seems to have got it sorted out now.   I know all our members will be pleased to hear that Chris is gradually getting thing sorted out in his private life. :)

As much as David may now regret what he said and did. And even though he has since messaged me, there are some things that just can't be undone. One is disrespecting my family, the other is undeleting an account on here. I'm afraid there is no recovering either of the above, even if I wanted to.

Hi Chris from Bill's (Wonderview) wife. I've been looking over Bill's shoulder for the past few years now as he's enjoyed being a member of this forum. You have all become a daily part of our lives, almost like distant family! It's been great fun horning in on the challenges (sometimes I get to help judge and even pick themes...but don't tell). We're grateful that you  have accepted members from so far afield. I am so very sorry to hear of the terrible ordeals that you have been facing--especially with your father. Given that, it is nothing short of amazing that you have any time or energy left to think about running this site. I know how grateful Bill is, hiccups and all, and I know  he would miss it if it disappeared. Please know that you are appreciated for what you are doing, and that you are in our thoughts.  I hope that you also can take some small comfort from knowing that this 'family' you have created here is wishing like Hell that you get through this and keep it all together. It seems like you have good friends here who are ready to listen if you need to unburden. I hope things turn around soon for you.

Thank you for that message 👍👍👍👍
Yes we do all grow in to a kind of online family. I hope everybody feels the same way, and we all continue to grow. In time I will get fully back on my feet, and be back up to speed. It's just a combination of several things in the last 3 months, that leave me with very little time to myself. Walking out of my job was the first step really, as doing in excess of 60 hours a week, wasn't doing me any favours at all. Put it this way, the week before Xmas, I was working an 80+ hour week, and that's after quitting with one day still left to work, do + another 10-12 hours. So something had to give, and it wasn't going to be my health.
This year will see a lot of changes, mainly me not working myself to death 👍👍👍

I have been there @chris Hodgson work 75 hours for 40 hours salary and to be made to feel guilty and unloyal if I didn't because I was a manager.  Left three years ago and never looked back mate.
