I'm going to test out some modified coding soon, which will auto detect mobiles etc. So over the next couple of hours you may see the forums do some odd things, or see the odd error ;)

Hmmm that seems to have gone far to easy. Can people please try mobiles etc, and make sure the forum detects their device, and switches to the mobile browsing style ;)

Opens fine on my android Chris.   Doesn't show the 'view new posts' thingy though.   Should it do?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to his country for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'

You should see a little search icon top right. Tap that, and the dropdown menu shows all options (as seen below) ;)

All I get is Advanced Search, View unanswered posts and view active topics Chris.

That post was sent from the phone Chris.   Didn't show as such.   Not sure whether you'd want it to?

I was thinking of adding the "Posted via mobile" etc etc. But on reflection, all it does is give the forum something else to do, when it could be reloading page ;) Trying to keep things as neat, fast and uncluttered as possible, which will help with future software updates etc ;)

Don't know if it's my finger trouble or I'm missing summat but the iPad doesn't make sense in the 'view new posts' mode as it doesn't indicate new replies.

Well, you're certainly succeeding in the 'fast' bit mate.
