In June 2014 the old Fuji Forum closed down.

Many members went from there to this friendly community, 233 in June 2014 alone. I belong to this group and will be looking back at 1 year in this forum in a few days.

I think we should somehow celebrate this event as it means for many of us that we had the chance to stay virtually together and could banter on.

Any idea what we could do? Something like 'my 3 best photos of the last 12 months'? A Limerick competition?

Hi Uwe,
Good idea.  I think 3 best would be too much so perhaps just one ? What about nominating your favourite thread or the one that you have found most useful in the past year ?

Wow - that are two clever ideas! Related to the forum and also showing a bit about ones personal interests. I like both of them.

More please  :)) :))

What about more meets. (I hear the beer's good in Hamburg) ;)
There's a meet next month in the Lakes that a small crowd of us are attending, new faces are very welcome to join us.

When and where David?   I'm going to be in the Lake District next month.

Bob Friday 12th June we all meet in Keswick about 3pm. Then straight into the pub to dicuss the weekends hikes with the leader Ian Allington. Be great if you can make it.

Unfortunately, David, I won't be there until later in the month.   Look forward to seeing photos of the meet though.

It's a regular meet Bob so there's always another time.

I wouldn't be able to do the hikes mate but I'd certainly like to attend the meet sometime in the future.
