Tomorrow night I will be coding a new members gallery/album system in to the forum. I've had the system on test for a few weeks now, and all seems well. Fingers crossed the 2 hours of coding should go smoothly, and the galleries etc should just "appear" before your eyes. But as always, these things can go wrong, so don't panic if we go offline for a few mins.
Fingers crossed people will find it of use

sounds cool Chris :)

I better pull my finger out and try to take some photos worthy of putting into a gallery :(

Good addition to the forum and will hopefully bring more people in posting.

I've always used bridged gallery systems before, but this one is a full forum gallery mod, so needs coding in to the forums main scripts etc. Estimated time for coding is 60 mins, but I also have to code it round the other mods I have in place. Took me just under 2 hours on the test forum, so fingers crossed all will go well hee heeeeeee

fingers crossed and good luck.

ATM I wish I had your skills mate.I am finding it totally impossible to do a webbie. My mind is just not up to the job any more and the minute I start to do one I just cant remember what I used to do.Think I might actually think about having one made for me and save myself the headache. I made a big mistake not following up the stuff I did with the OU on web design because its so long since I did one I have just forgotten everything and its not worth the frustration its giving me to try to do my own again. As far as webbies are now concerned I think I have degraded back into thicksville :(

LOL Kenny. I think Martin is in the same boat, seen as PFO is currently throwing coding errors out LOL
Will have words with ya on the 11th, and show ya how easy it is, once you grasp the joomla basics.

Update:
Gallery system is now on, as I managed to copy the testing files straight over. I will set all the user permissions etc etc in the next few hours, then it's a free for all to get some albums up and running

Copying the files over just saved me 2 hours of coding in Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The new albums system has the option to overlay a small watermark to prevent image theft/show where the image was taken from (I can set it to be anywhere on the image, so could be right at bottom)
I've not enabled this as yet, as I would like peoples views on if this is a good idea or not?
So what do ya think. Watermark images, or not?
