I'm just testing a new quick reply mod. It currently has a bug, so will only be on for an hour or so, unless I find the bug quickly ;-) :D

Right, the new full version of quick reply will be on for most of today. The current bug in it means the "Quote" button in posts, doesn't work correctly, and doesn't place the contents of the post in the quote (as seen above). This should be a very simple fix, but I'm rather busy this morning fixing a burst pipe, because some armhole put a screw through it yesterday
As soon as I'm done, I wil crack on and get the quote button fixed. If all else fails, I will revert back to the old quick reply, until I can debug the code ;-)

How's that Chris?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to his country for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'

LOL There is one final bug to fix now, but I best get plumbing done, or the Mrs will kill me LOL

The bug is that if you are viewing a topic after pressing "new posts" etc, it will refresh the page before letting the "Quote" work. But if you spot any other bugs, please le me know;-)

If you hit quote button, the quote appears for a few secs then disappears leaving you with an empty reply box

Yes this is the bug in it, that the developers are trying to fix at the moment. If you are viewing a thread by clicking the "new posts" button and click "quote", it refreshes the page to the main topic url.
If you look at the url of a topic normally, it ends in "what-ever-the-topic-is.html". Where as if you hit the new posts button, it looks like this "what-ever-the-topic-is.html#p12345" When you click on quote, when viewing it as "new posts",you will notice it removes the "#p12345" from the end of the url (which is the newest post number).

Once it has refreshed itself, the quote button works perfectly fine,  so it's only a minor inconvenience while the page reloads. As said the developers are working on it right now, and as soon as I get the coding to fix it, I will do ;)
