Well that wasn’t easy thanks to all your terrific photos.

1st place Bill’s runaway hay bale, wow.Wouldn't want to be in it's way eh? My question is, do you get to keep it or is it reclaimed by the farmer?

2nd place Sheila for the hand-sawn sheep, must have been interesting to watch it being carved.

3rd place to Jackie for the fly Macro and Mary-Ann for the grasshopper, lovely closeups ladies.

Looks like it’s over to you Bill.

@Dipper        Really like your yacht Jonathan, very nice.

@Mags100    Love your candid shot too Mags.

Mine's in
We have a fairly steep hill behind our house that is mostly covered by a large hay field. Since they started using these round hay bailers, we have had 3 bails come sailing down the hill and colliding into things in our yard. One hit a car.(Dented a fender.)  One ran into one of my outbuildings. (No damage thankfully) One ran through the yard and down our driveway and ended up sitting on the shoulder of the road. Meet number four. They are bailing today, and ironically my wife and I were sitting in the front yard talking about these runaway bails, when **CRASH!**....this one ran into an outbuilding again and hit hard enough to crack a stud in the wall. I might get slightly annoyed if this keeps happening. lol

@wonderview .. And I thought I'd got problems with the mowing going on in the dark and trundling along the lanes when everyone should be asleep :o ???

Well done Sheila and Jackie!
Thanks for the win and for judging Kathy!
@witchone TWO more came rolling down the hill and were stopped by trees at the edge of the yard. One was headed straight for my son's car! The farmer's helper  came and took them away. He didn't have much to say about it. And yes they are big bails and this is a dangerous situation, so next haying season I will have a talk with the guys as they are haying in hopes of avoiding this happening again!
