An even betterer Sunset this evening, and the Nan Hai V being so well positioned, once again plays foreground to the spectacle.

I agree with Jayne.   Great series.
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to his country for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.'

Well now, after about a week of dross sunsets, I managed another one this evening. As is typical with these things, 2 days ago the Sun would have been perfectly positioned, as it is, I missed the BIG one....

Thanks Bob. This time I used my 2x teleconverter with the 70-300 set at 200mm, I've found that I get a sharper focus at such distance.

That last one is the money shot..... what i would imagine a 'typical' eastern sunset to look like...........get that one printed
