I hate it when people view and can't be bothered to comment on a shot after you have taken the trouble to post. Know not all views are members but they do deserve some comment
good or bad.

Brings back memories of my youth, a mere 17 year old in 1950. Well spotted and thanks for sharing.

I think I prefer the originals. Interesting shots.

I'm glad some of these old bikes are still around. Which reminds me. I must do something about the AJS 250 buried in my garage.

Cheers Gordon.

you're still not getting the raspberries  ;D

Thanks Dipper,
I couldn't make my mind up if the last lot were to contrasty or not.  In my yoof I watched an AJS 250 slowly deteriorate in a garage where a lad from the army, a mate of my older cousin, had left it after a breakdown and never come back for. We couldnt get in touch and never saw him again. It died a horrible death.

For me too the edit does not really work. The lights are blown out and all the details in the shades have gone.

If you want to edit the photos i would suggest to clone out some distracting details in the back and perhaps put some blur on the background altogether. Makes the main element pop out much more  ;)

Thanks Uwe,
I think you're right on this one.  Will try what you suggest on another copy

:)) I had a peek expecting to see some woodland shot with the suns rays streaking through a down pour of rain or something similar. I had forgotten about the old Sunbeam motorcycles although I was an old Rocker at one time in my life favouring the Beezer range of bikes, Anyhow back to the piccies, all very nice, good detail and colour and I prefer the first set to the second.
